# Notoriety vs Simple Notes.

The clearest difference is rating: Simple Notes. at 4.7 against Notoriety's 3.6. Simple Notes. also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). Notoriety's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notoriety sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Simple Notes. sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
