# Wax vs Moldora

The clearest difference is rating: Wax at 5.0 against Moldora's 4.0. Wax also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Moldora's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wax sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Moldora sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively.

Wax ships an update every 3 weeks, Moldora every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
