# EpicMileage vs MileTracker Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: EpicMileage at free with in-app purchases against MileTracker Pro's subscription. EpicMileage also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). MileTracker Pro's advantage is ratings volume (242 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EpicMileage sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MileTracker Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EpicMileage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MileTracker Pro has 242 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EpicMileage ships an update every 3 weeks, MileTracker Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
