# Thortspace vs Inclr

The clearest difference is monetization model: Thortspace at free with in-app purchases against Inclr's subscription. Thortspace also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Inclr's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.5) and review sentiment (60% vs 40%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thortspace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Inclr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inclr holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inclr has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Thortspace's written reviews are positive against 60% of Inclr's.

Thortspace ships an update every 6 days, Inclr every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
