# Thortspace vs TouchMind

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TouchMind at 86% against Thortspace's 40%. TouchMind also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (37 vs 4). Thortspace's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thortspace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TouchMind sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TouchMind holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchMind has 37 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Thortspace's written reviews are positive against 86% of TouchMind's.

Thortspace ships an update every 6 days, TouchMind every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
