# Thortspace vs MindMap

The clearest difference is ads: Thortspace at none against MindMap's shown. Thortspace also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thortspace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MindMap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
