# OpenManage Mobile vs SnipeMobile

The clearest difference is rating: SnipeMobile at 4.0 against OpenManage Mobile's 2.9. SnipeMobile also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). OpenManage Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SnipeMobile holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenManage Mobile has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OpenManage Mobile ships an update every 6 months, SnipeMobile every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
