# Greeto vs Hidden msg

The clearest difference is rating: Greeto at 5.0 against Hidden msg's 2.3. Greeto also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 10.0). Hidden msg's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Greeto holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden msg has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Greeto ships an update every 7 months, Hidden msg every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
