# Predator Pro vs ShedGuide

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShedGuide at weekly against Predator Pro's every 6 months. Predator Pro's advantage is ratings volume (116 vs 2) and rating (3.3 vs 3.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Predator Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ShedGuide sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Predator Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Predator Pro has 116 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Predator Pro ships an update every 6 months, ShedGuide weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
