# Blackboard vs Derasah

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Blackboard at 444K against Derasah's 8. Blackboard also leads on chart position (#106 vs unranked). Derasah's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Derasah holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blackboard has 444K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Blackboard ships an update monthly, Derasah weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
