# ニュースダイジェスト vs ロケットニュース24

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ロケットニュース24 at 100% against ニュースダイジェスト's 55%. ロケットニュース24 also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). ニュースダイジェスト's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (313 vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ニュースダイジェスト holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ニュースダイジェスト has 313 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of ニュースダイジェスト's written reviews are positive against 100% of ロケットニュース24's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ニュースダイジェスト ships an update every 3 weeks, ロケットニュース24 every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
