# Reverse Vid vs Reverse Video

The clearest difference is rating: Reverse Vid at 4.4 against Reverse Video's 2.5. Reverse Vid also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 25 months). Reverse Video's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reverse Vid sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Reverse Video sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Vid holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reverse Vid has 70K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reverse Vid ships an update every 3 weeks, Reverse Video every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
