# mix.tokyo 公式アプリ vs Aarong

The clearest difference is rating: mix.tokyo 公式アプリ at 5.0 against Aarong's 3.6. Aarong's advantage is ratings volume (164 vs 1) and review sentiment (20% vs 4%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mix.tokyo 公式アプリ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aarong has 164 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of mix.tokyo 公式アプリ's written reviews are positive against 20% of Aarong's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mix.tokyo 公式アプリ ships an update every 3 weeks, Aarong monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
