# NCWorks vs Sun

The clearest difference is rating: Sun at 5.0 against NCWorks's 1.8. Sun also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). NCWorks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sun holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NCWorks has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NCWorks ships an update every 3 weeks, Sun every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
