# ZigZag vs Stranger Towers

The clearest difference is rating: Stranger Towers at 5.0 against ZigZag's 4.2. Stranger Towers also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). ZigZag's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZigZag sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Stranger Towers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stranger Towers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZigZag has 32K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ZigZag ships an update every 2 months, Stranger Towers monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
