# Locty vs Stops+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Locty at every 2 weeks against Stops+'s every 6 weeks. Locty also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locty sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Stops+ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locty ships an update every 2 weeks, Stops+ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
