# Hocus Puzzle vs Crazy Manor Match

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hocus Puzzle at 93% against Crazy Manor Match's 65%. Crazy Manor Match's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 42) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hocus Puzzle sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Crazy Manor Match sells 27 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crazy Manor Match holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Manor Match has 6.7K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Hocus Puzzle's written reviews are positive against 65% of Crazy Manor Match's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hocus Puzzle ships an update fortnightly, Crazy Manor Match monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
