# Ctrl+C vs Clipboard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clipboard at every 3 weeks against Ctrl+C's every 5 months. Clipboard also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 31) and review sentiment (86% vs 67%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ctrl+C sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Clipboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Ctrl+C against 4.5 for Clipboard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clipboard has 1.9K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Ctrl+C's written reviews are positive against 86% of Clipboard's.

Ctrl+C ships an update every 5 months, Clipboard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
