# ESC vs SHARE Rewards

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ESC at 80% against SHARE Rewards's 19%. ESC also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SHARE Rewards's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (323 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ESC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHARE Rewards has 323 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of ESC's written reviews are positive against 19% of SHARE Rewards's.

ESC ships an update every 4 months, SHARE Rewards weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
