# 宝宝记 vs G动

The clearest difference is ads: G动 at none against 宝宝记's shown. G动 also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). 宝宝记's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (491 vs 66). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 宝宝记 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and G动 sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

宝宝记 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 宝宝记 has 491 ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of 宝宝记's written reviews are positive against 91% of G动's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

宝宝记 ships an update every 2 months, G动 every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
