# 1SpotMedia vs Jester Bot

The clearest difference is rating: Jester Bot at 5.0 against 1SpotMedia's 2.5. Jester Bot also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). 1SpotMedia's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (119 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1SpotMedia sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Jester Bot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jester Bot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1SpotMedia has 119 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

1SpotMedia ships an update fortnightly, Jester Bot every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
