# SFPL vs Wayfarer Prayers

The clearest difference is rating: Wayfarer Prayers at 5.0 against SFPL's 4.0. SFPL's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wayfarer Prayers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SFPL has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SFPL ships an update every 4 months, Wayfarer Prayers every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
