# Be Focused Pro vs Units

The clearest difference is price: Units at Free against Be Focused Pro's $19.99. Units also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). Be Focused Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (80% vs 45%). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Units is free to download; Be Focused Pro costs $19.99 up front. Units sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Be Focused Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Units holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Be Focused Pro has 3K ratings behind it against 261, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Be Focused Pro's written reviews are positive against 45% of Units's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Be Focused Pro ships an update every 5 months, Units every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
