# Birth Control Pill Reminder vs Birth Control Ring Reminder

Birth Control Pill Reminder and Birth Control Ring Reminder both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Birth Control Ring Reminder's written reviews are positive against 71% of Birth Control Pill Reminder's. Birth Control Pill Reminder's advantage is ratings volume (9.8K vs 1.3K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birth Control Pill Reminder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Birth Control Ring Reminder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birth Control Pill Reminder holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birth Control Pill Reminder has 9.8K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Birth Control Pill Reminder's written reviews are positive against 93% of Birth Control Ring Reminder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Birth Control Pill Reminder ships an update every 3 weeks, Birth Control Ring Reminder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
