# ZenClock vs Clock Alarm++

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Clock Alarm++ at none against ZenClock's 2. Clock Alarm++ also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 4) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). ZenClock's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZenClock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Clock Alarm++ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clock Alarm++ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Alarm++ has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ZenClock's written reviews are positive against 42% of Clock Alarm++'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
