# Full vs Shofar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shofar at none against Full's 5. Shofar also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Full's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Shofar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Full ships an update every 5 days, Shofar every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
