# Parental Control App vs Wonlex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wonlex at none against Parental Control App's 5. Wonlex also leads on review sentiment (51% vs 38%). Parental Control App's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (37K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parental Control App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Wonlex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Parental Control App holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parental Control App has 37K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Parental Control App's written reviews are positive against 51% of Wonlex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Parental Control App ships an update monthly, Wonlex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
