# ReaderView vs Video Teleprompter

The clearest difference is update cadence: ReaderView at every 2 days against Video Teleprompter's fortnightly. ReaderView also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReaderView sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Video Teleprompter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReaderView ships an update every 2 days, Video Teleprompter fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
