# Reality Augmented (VR) vs Legendary VR

The clearest difference is rating: Reality Augmented (VR) at 4.3 against Legendary VR's 2.0. Reality Augmented (VR) also leads on ratings volume (446 vs 21) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). Legendary VR's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reality Augmented (VR) sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Legendary VR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reality Augmented (VR) holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reality Augmented (VR) has 446 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Reality Augmented (VR)'s written reviews are positive against 66% of Legendary VR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reality Augmented (VR) ships an update every 4 months, Legendary VR every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
