The clearest difference is review sentiment: Metalink VR at 100% against Reality Augmented (VR)'s 60%. Metalink VR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Reality Augmented (VR)'s advantage is ratings volume (446 vs 4) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Reality Augmented (VR) holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reality Augmented (VR) has 446 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Reality Augmented (VR)'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Metalink VR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
