# Cyclic Timer vs Express Pass

The clearest difference is update cadence: Express Pass at every 6 weeks against Cyclic Timer's every 12 months. Express Pass also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Cyclic Timer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Cyclic Timer against 5.0 for Express Pass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Express Pass has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cyclic Timer ships an update every 12 months, Express Pass every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
