# Telzio vs smrtPhone

The clearest difference is rating: smrtPhone at 4.6 against Telzio's 3.7. smrtPhone also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 101). Telzio's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

smrtPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: smrtPhone has 1.4K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Telzio's written reviews are positive against 24% of smrtPhone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Telzio ships an update every 10 days, smrtPhone fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
