# UDS App vs Sharh

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sharh at free against UDS App's free with in-app purchases. Sharh also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). UDS App's advantage is ratings volume (6.9K vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for UDS App against 5.0 for Sharh. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UDS App has 6.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of UDS App's written reviews are positive against 75% of Sharh's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
