# UDS App vs MelaMasta

The clearest difference is rating: UDS App at 4.9 against MelaMasta's 3.7. UDS App also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (6.9K vs 3). MelaMasta's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MelaMasta sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. UDS App asks for nothing beyond the download.

UDS App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UDS App has 6.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of UDS App's written reviews are positive against 100% of MelaMasta's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UDS App ships an update every 3 weeks, MelaMasta every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
