# Pt vs OnTrack CE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pt at 88% against OnTrack CE's 0%. OnTrack CE's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pt sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and OnTrack CE sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnTrack CE holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 44 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Pt's written reviews are positive against 0% of OnTrack CE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pt ships an update every 5 weeks, OnTrack CE weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
