# Volotic vs Wormhole

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wormhole at every 4 days against Volotic's every 2 months. Volotic's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Volotic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wormhole sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Volotic ships an update every 2 months, Wormhole every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
