# TrainHeroic vs Pivot

The clearest difference is rating: Pivot at 5.0 against TrainHeroic's 4.3. Pivot also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). TrainHeroic's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 5). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrainHeroic sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Pivot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pivot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrainHeroic has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TrainHeroic ships an update every 8 days, Pivot every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
