# Shellback vs eSUPPO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eSUPPO at 100% against Shellback's 45%. eSUPPO also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and rating (3.5 vs 3.2). Shellback's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eSUPPO holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shellback has 38 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
