# Prophytes vs Stud Finder゜

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Prophytes at 71% against Stud Finder゜'s 35%. Prophytes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Stud Finder゜'s advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 36) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prophytes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and Stud Finder゜ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stud Finder゜ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stud Finder゜ has 5K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Prophytes's written reviews are positive against 35% of Stud Finder゜'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prophytes ships an update every 3 weeks, Stud Finder゜ every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
