# Dilution Calculator vs OpenReport

The clearest difference is rating: OpenReport at 3.0 against Dilution Calculator's 2.3. OpenReport also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). Dilution Calculator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 29%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dilution Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and OpenReport sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenReport holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Dilution Calculator's written reviews are positive against 29% of OpenReport's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dilution Calculator ships an update every 6 months, OpenReport every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
