# InfoPix vs Gentle Start

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gentle Start at every 3 days against InfoPix's monthly. Gentle Start also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InfoPix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Gentle Start sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InfoPix ships an update monthly, Gentle Start every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
