# Countdown for Disney vs Vacation Countdown

The clearest difference is rating: Vacation Countdown at 5.0 against Countdown for Disney's 3.6. Countdown for Disney's advantage is ratings volume (258 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown for Disney sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vacation Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vacation Countdown holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown for Disney has 258 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
