# Liner vs Notro

The clearest difference is rating: Liner at 4.4 against Notro's 3.8. Liner also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liner sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Notro sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Liner holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liner has 1.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Liner's written reviews are positive against 43% of Notro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
