# Nam Đế vs Idle Roller Coaster

The clearest difference is rating: Idle Roller Coaster at 4.8 against Nam Đế's 2.7. Idle Roller Coaster also leads on ratings volume (185K vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Nam Đế's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nam Đế sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Idle Roller Coaster sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Idle Roller Coaster holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idle Roller Coaster has 185K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Nam Đế's written reviews are positive against 65% of Idle Roller Coaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nam Đế ships an update monthly, Idle Roller Coaster fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
