# HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation vs Offline Map Navigation

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation at 59% against Offline Map Navigation's 14%. HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Offline Map Navigation's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Offline Map Navigation sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation asks for nothing beyond the download.

Offline Map Navigation holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation has 1.6K ratings behind it against 314, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation's written reviews are positive against 14% of Offline Map Navigation's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation ships an update every 3 weeks, Offline Map Navigation fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
