# ER School District vs Minga

The clearest difference is update cadence: Minga at every 3 weeks against ER School District's every 9 months. Minga also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 7) and rating (3.0 vs 2.7). ER School District's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 12%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minga holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minga has 7.7K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ER School District's written reviews are positive against 12% of Minga's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ER School District ships an update every 9 months, Minga every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
