# Count That Now vs Traffic Count

The clearest difference is ads: Traffic Count at none against Count That Now's shown. Traffic Count also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Count That Now's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Count That Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Traffic Count sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Traffic Count holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Count That Now has 5.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Count That Now ships an update every 3 months, Traffic Count every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
