# Avoid Smoking vs Lie Detector Truth Test

The clearest difference is rating: Lie Detector Truth Test at 4.6 against Avoid Smoking's 2.9. Lie Detector Truth Test also leads on ratings volume (49K vs 97). Avoid Smoking's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lie Detector Truth Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Avoid Smoking asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lie Detector Truth Test holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lie Detector Truth Test has 49K ratings behind it against 97, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Avoid Smoking's written reviews are positive against 51% of Lie Detector Truth Test's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
