# Setellite vs Final Draft Go

The clearest difference is monetization model: Setellite at free with in-app purchases against Final Draft Go's subscription. Setellite also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Final Draft Go's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Setellite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and Final Draft Go sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Setellite holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final Draft Go has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of Setellite's written reviews are positive against 10% of Final Draft Go's.

Setellite ships an update monthly, Final Draft Go every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
