# VICO vs Auto Record

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VICO at 521 against Auto Record's 2. Auto Record's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VICO sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Auto Record sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Auto Record holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VICO has 521 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of VICO's written reviews are positive against 100% of Auto Record's.

VICO ships an update every 6 days, Auto Record every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
